Ophelia is the type of character that will keep you turning the pages of a story. As I read this book, I really felt emotions not with her, but for her! Being cast as the world's creepiest "villain" makes it interesting to see how she maneuvers through the afterlife.
Ophelia makes several choices that will cause you to seriously think, what would I do if put in this situation?
There are so many amazing characters that we get to meet, and each one brings something special to the story and into Ophelia's afterlife.
I highly suggest you read this book!
“Listen, kid, I don’t care what you believe in. It’s not for me to say what’s true and untrue, real or unreal. My assignment was you. You get to be one of us, if you want it. Otherwise, you move on, life is over, kaput.”
Ophelia backed away from the stranger. For the first time, she realized she didn’t feel cold and wasn’t shivering. Is this what being dead was like? “One of you?”
“A grim reaper.” He held out his hand to properly introduce himself. “Edon Montgomery, head reaper and old soul.”
