Review- Erin the Fire Goddess

Erin the Fire Goddess: Betrayal

Author Lavinia Urban

Goodreads description:

Most 15 year old girls usually only worry about what clothes to wear, but not Erin Tait. Erin just has to try not to set fire to anything. Easier said than done when she can’t control it. Louise Clarke is a new girl who seems to have some type of seductive power and she says she can have any man she wants, but the only man she wants right now is Sean. After discovering the diary of her great grandmother, Elizabeth Tait, Erin realises that all is not what it seems. Or rather not everyone is who they seem to be. Who is the invisible man? And what secrets does he hold? Can Erin stay away from him? And can she keep Louise away from Sean?

I will personally rate this 4 out of 5 stars
I was given this as an ebook by the author for an honest review.

This review may have some spoilers for those of who that haven't read book one.  Honestly if you havent read book one you should be ashamed of yourselves!! Go, on and save yourself the agony and buy it for $2.99 here.

This is the second book in the Erin trilogy, and it picks up directly where book one had left off.  We find Erin still coming to grips with learning that she has been given these extra powers to mold and create fire.  Other than that little thing she is your average 15 year old.

Erin and Sean are still together and their relationship seems to be a-ok, until Erin gets a little unsettling news that she has trouble dealing with.  So lets add a new girl, Louise, who may have a secret or two of her own and now you have your not so classic love triangle.

I found myself loving Erin even more in this book because she isn't picture perfect like most other main characters you see now a days.  She is flawed, self conscious and she really has to work on herself, seriously.

I love the story Urban weaves and just like before, I suggest you get the third book all ready to go, because you wont see your resolution here in book two!

If you would like to purchase Erin the Fire Goddess: Betrayal in ebook format it is available for $3.99
